We want you to feel completely confident about your Artless cap. If it isn't quite what you expected, whether it's the fit, the style, or simply a change of heart, we're here to make things right. If that's the case, you have 30 days from the day your order arrives to return or exchange it. No hoops to jump through, no awkward questions, just send it back to us and we'll sort it out. Once we receive the cap in its original condition, we'll process your refund as quickly as possible. Return shipping is at your own cost. For orders shipped outside the Netherlands, the original shipping fee isn't refunded. If you'd rather swap it for a different style or colour, we're happy to help with that too, as long as it's in stock. This is an unstructured cap made from soft organic cotton, which means it moulds to your head the more you wear it. It has an adjustable back strap, so it fits head circumferences from 50 cm to 60 cm. The crown is slightly deeper than on the Slogan Caps, so it sits a tiny bit lower on the head, closer to the ears.

GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. It means the cotton in your cap was grown without harmful chemicals or pesticides, uses less water than conventional cotton farming, and guarantees fair working conditions for everyone involved in making it. When you buy an Artless cap, you know exactly what it's made of and how.

BSCI stands for Business Social Compliance Initiative. It means the factory we work with is independently audited for fair wages, safe working conditions and workers' rights. We believe where and how something is made matters just as much as the end result.

Cold hand wash or a gentle machine wash, with a mild detergent. Reshape while damp and leave to air dry. Avoid the tumble dryer, ironing and bleach, they damage the shape and the cotton.

Yes, over time, and it is something we genuinely love. Our caps are made from thick, durable organic cotton, but because they are custom dyed they do fade a little quicker than most. Sun, rain, everyday wear all leave their mark. The longer you wear it, the more it feels like yours.

Our caps are made in China, in a factory we genuinely consider a partner. China is home to some of the world's best cap manufacturers, and the people we work with are proof of that. Over time we have built a relationship based on trust, shared values and a commitment to doing things properly. They hold BSCI certification, which means independent audits for fair wages, safe working conditions and workers' rights. But beyond the certification, they care about the product as much as we do. And that shows in every cap we make.

Orders ship within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery within the Netherlands takes 1 to 2 days. For the rest of Europe, expect 3 to 5 days. Shipping is free within the Netherlands. For the rest of Europe it is €7,95. Outside Europe it is calculated at checkout, based on where you are. Everything ships from Amsterdam, so there are no customs charges or import duties inside the EU. Outside the EU, some countries charge import duties on arrival, and that is out of our hands.
