Collaboration
The Bazaar cap
September is over. A look back at our cap with Harper’s Bazaar.

A while back Harper’s Bazaar came to us with an idea: a special edition cap for the September issue. We said yes immediately.
What followed was quite the ride. Designing the cap, getting it made, building the campaign around it, shooting it, and now finally getting to share it. Exciting, challenging, and a real puzzle at times, but we made it work. I’m very grateful and so proud of this wonderful collab.

How it started
It started with Artless: the People, our campaign where we photographed and interviewed each other and the people who inspire us. We always want to show the person under the cap. That campaign is what caught Bazaar’s eye.

The cap
Navy with white BAZAAR embroidered on the front and the Artless logo on the back strap. 100% organic cotton, made to wear for years. No frills, just a well made, casual cap.
We shot the campaign the same way. The people under the cap at the centre, relaxed, in conversation, not posed. Different ages and different backgrounds.

Thank you
None of this happens alone. Thank you Tatiana, Miluska and the whole Harper’s Bazaar team for trusting us with your September issue. Iman for the creative direction, Isabelle for the styling, Misha for the words, Monique for hair and make-up, Jalisa for the film, Suus Waijers for our portrait in the magazine, and everyone who helped on set. And everyone who stood in front of the camera: thank you for simply being yourselves.
